Most website owners ignore the importance of creatively designing their 404 page. When readers can’t find what they are looking for or access a page that does not exist, they simply look elsewhere. By creating an engaging 404 page, you can retain your visitors on your website by suggesting relevant links that they may be looking for. It also helps “entertain” them a bit more and at least reduce the change of them leaving your website for another. After all, who wants that boring default browsing 404 page?

These free Elementor 404 resources and page templates are inspired by the tutorial Ben Pine entitled Creating 404 page using the Elementor and Create your Beautiful 404 Page. So, our team decided to create free Elementor 404 design layouts and templates so that any Elementor user can just plug and play them on their own websites.

You can select from seven different freee Elementor 404 design layouts and customize it according to your preferences.

Let’s Get Started

By default, our Elementor 404 page looks like this:

By using our FREE layouts, you can have a better looking and engaging 404 page. Select 1 layout below and click “Download“.

In this tutorial, we’re going to implement these Elementor 404 designs above by Importing the layout to your Elementor Templates.

STEP 1: Extract the "elementor-404.zip" you downloaded

STEP 2: Creating 404 page

1. Go to “My templates” under the Elementor tab.

2. Click the Add New button to create the Elementor 404 template.

STEP 4: Choose template type

  1. Select Single for the type of Elementor 404 template do you want to use.

2. Select the Elementor 404 Page for post type.

Step 5: Importing the .json file.

1. Click the button for importing the Elementor 404 template you’ve chosen.
2. Click select file button and select the .json file then click open.
3. Click the insert button to import the Elementor  404 template.

Step 5: Save the Elementor 404 template.

1. Click the publish button.

Step 6. Check the Elementor 404 page of your website!
